The 18-year-old girl, who was missing 2 months ago in Turkiye's Mardin, in Midyat district, was found dead in a well. Six suspects reportedly were taken into custody.

According to the information, the gendarmerie team acted after the notice of the smell coming from a well near the Turgalı neighborhood.

A large number of gendarmes and fire brigades were dispatched to the area by the notifying of a shepherd in the vicinity. The teams that started the work at the scene found a body belonging to a young girl in the well.

The corpse, which covered with stones, was taken out of the well and determined that it belonged to 18-years-old Gülpınar Kızılkaya, who was missing about 2 months ago.

The corpse was taken to the morgue of Midyat State Hospital for the autopsy. It is thought that the young girl may have been killed after she was kidnapped.

While investigating the incident, it has been learned that six suspects have been taken into custody so far.
