Conflict in Adıyaman: 4 soldiers lost their lives
In Adıyaman, four soldiers lost their lives and five soldiers were wounded in a fight with a group of PKK members on Thursday.
In Adiyaman, conflict broke out between Turkish soldiers and PKK elements. The PKK elements reportedly set fire on a marble quarry 2 days ago and fled from the region. Four soldiers lost their lives in the clash while 5 other soldiers were wounded.
An operation was launched to seize the PKK elements, who burned the marble quarry in the countryside near Kömür town and run away on Tuesday. Within the scope of the operation, a group of PKKs were noticed in the countryside on Thursday morning.
A clash broke out after the surrender call made by soldiers. Four soldiers have lost their lives while 5 other soldiers were wounded in the clash.
The injured soldiers reportedly were rushed to Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital.
The operation started in the district continues.
