Coup-attempter soldiers detained in Gabon
Some soldiers, who attempted a coup, were arrested and the intervention was prevented in Gabon said officials on Monday.
Officials stated on Monday that some soldiers were prevented from attempting a coup in the west of Africa; Gabon and four coup troopers were captured.
Government spokesman Guy-Bertrand Mapangou stated that 4 of 5 troops, who seized the national radio in Libreville, the capital of Gabon, were arrested while an operation is underway against escaped other troop.
"The situation is under control," Mapangou told AFP.
