Following the news about the situation of Reza Saffar who is imprisoned in the US and not allowed to meet with his lawyer, Turkiye sent a diplomatic note to the Washington Administration.

"We demanded information we haven’t get any response. We have acted upon the news. The subject is followed. Washington embassy, demanded information," said Turkish Foreign Ministry officials about the situation of the Sarraf.

Turkish side concerning about health status and condition of Reza Saffar in which it was emphasized that in the diplomatic note.

A statement from Ministry of Foreign Affairs is expected to be made related to the issue.
