ECHR drops thousands of files by the establishment of emergency state commission
Turkiye’s Ministry of Justice stated that with the establishment of the emergency state commission, the number of applications pending before the ECHR dropped from 24,600 to 12 thousand.
The Ministry of Justice stated that 12,600 files had dropped from the ECHR with the establishment of the emergency state commission.
In the statement made by the Ministry, it was reminded that after the coup attempt by FETO on July 15, 2016, the emergency state was declared in accordance with the Constitution and international contracts.
