Flood kills 3 in NE of Turkey, 7 missing

Turkey's Agriculture and Forestry Minister Bekir Pakdemirli announced Wednesday that bodies of 3 people were found after the flood disaster occurred in Trabzon's Araklı District in Çamlıtepe Neighborhood while 7 others are still missing.

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli held a press conference in front of Trabzon Governor's office regarding flood disaster hits Çamlıtepe Neighborhood near Araklı District of Trabzon, a northeastern province of Turkey.

Stating that people who lost their lives in the flood has increased 3, which announced by the provincial governor as 2 before, Pakdemirli wished mercy from Almighty Allah for those lost their lives and patience to the families.

One of those who lost his life was a municipality staff, another was an imam and the other was a citizen Pakdemirli said. "Our 7 citizens are still missing. Three of them are metropolitan officers, one of them was a staff at state hydraulic works and the other three are our citizens."

Paktdemirli noted that there are 4 injured, which are in good conditions.

The ministry said at least 76 people evacuated from the area due to flood.
