The US Embassy building opened last week with an official ceremony after US President Donald Trump announced that he recognized Al-Quds as the capital of the terrorist gang on December 6, 2017, and that his country would carry the embassy in Tel Aviv to Al-Quds.

Following this step of the US, Guatemala, now one of the South American countries, moved its embassy in Tel Aviv to Al-Quds, to the occupied territories.

Speaking at the inauguration in the district of Malcha of Al-Quds, "This is a historic day that strengthens ties between Israel and Paraguay," Paraguay President Horacio Cartes said. Terrorist gang Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Cartes as "a great friend" and said, "A great day for our friendship."

The US relocated its embassy to Al-Quds a week ago, drawing Palestinian and international anger. Hundreds of thousands of people in Gaza Strip protested the inauguration ceremony of US' embassy in Al-Quds. The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that during the protests, 65 Palestinians were martyrs and 3,000 were wounded.
