Police stopped a suspect car by firing on the air, which tried to run away, in Şarlıurfa's Suruç. In the stopped car, 4-bags of ballots were reportedly seized.

Three people in the car were taken into custody.

The event took place at noon on Sunday, in front of Cumhuriyet Neighborhood Sur Street Bilgi Elementary School.

According to the information, police officers, who received information that some people would replace sealed votes with others in Suruç in the car bag, took necessary precautions in front of the school.

The police then fired into the air as soon as found a 27 BSU 52 plated suspect car, which was trying to escape. Some 3 people in the stopped car were taken into custody after 4-bags of ballot seized in the car.

Following the incident, the AK Party deputy Ibrahim Halil Yıldız came to the school and received information from the police.
