G-20 Leaders Summit kicks off in Japan

G20 Leaders Summit will be held in Osaka, Japan. Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe welcomed the leaders participating in the Summit one by one, as they arrived at INTEX Fairground.

G20 Leaders Summit will be kicked off in Osaka, Japan. The decisions to be taken in the G20 negotiations, which are the main platform of global economic cooperation, are closely monitored by countries.

Bilateral talks by world leaders are expected to outweigh the issues to be addressed at the G20 Leaders Summit.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also attended the G-20 Leaders Summit in Osaka, Japan.

Shinzo Abe, Japanese Prime Minister and Chief of the G-20 Summit welcomed the leaders participating in the Summit one by one, as they arrived at INTEX Fairground.

The leaders then took a family photo together. In the family photo, President Erdoğan was at the front row between US President Donald Trump and Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Attending a special event on the digital economy after the family photo, President Erdoğan and other heads of state and government proceeded to the summit's first session and working luncheon held on the themes of "Global Economy" and "Trade and Investment".

Prior to the working luncheon, President Erdoğan, accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak, chatted for a while with President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.

President Erdoğan will have a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and then US President Donald Trump on June 29 morning.
