The Islamic Resistance Movement [Hamas] said the plans of the US government to liquidate the Palestinian cause and the results of the Bahrain Workshop would remain on paper.

The Hamas Movement strongly condemned the participation of Arab countries in the workshop to be held in Manama, the capital of Bahrain.

Hussam Badran, a member of the Hamas Movement Political Unit, said that Palestinian people have been fighting for the freedom of their land for 100 years.

Badran said that the Palestinian people would not compromise their homeland, their Palestinian identity if they offered all the world's goods.

"Arab countries participating in the Bahrain workshop is contrary to the common attitude of the Palestinians," said Badran, adding that the solutions tried to impose on the Palestinian people through tutelage will fail.

Badran, who pointed out that the attempt to force the Palestinian people to accept plans by starving them would not be successful, also saluted the countries that boycotted the Bahrain Workshop.

Badran said the decision to boycott the workshop is a noble and humanitarian attitude that continues to support the rights of the Palestinian people.
