House sales in Turkey decreased by 18.1% in April

House sales decreased by 18.1% in April 2019 compared to the same month of the previous year in Turkey.

In Turkey, house sales decreased by 18.1% in April 2019 compared to the same month of the previous year and hence, became 84,403.

For the house sales of April 2019, Istanbul had the highest share of house sales with 18.3% and 15,481 sold house.

The followers of Istanbul were Ankara with 7,519 house sales and Izmir 4,797 house sales with a share of 8.9% and 5.7% respectively.

The least house sold provinces were Hakkari with 6 house sales, Ardahan with 13 house sales, Bayburt with 32 house sales.

The mortgaged house sales throughout Turkey became 10,793 by decreasing 61.3% compared to the same month of the previous year.

House sales with a mortgage had a 12.8% share of all house sales in Turkey. Most of the house sales with a mortgage were in Istanbul with 2,040 sales.

Istanbul was the first province in Turkey ranking that has most house sales with mortgage share with 18.9%. Mortgaged house sales had the highest share in Artvin with 27.4% of all house sales.

Other house sales in Turkey became 73,610 by decreasing 2.1% compared to the same month of the previous year.

In the other sales, Istanbul was the first province with 13,441 sales and 18.3% share. Other house sales had 86.8% share of all house sales in Istanbul. Ankara was the second province with 6,258 sales.

Ankara was followed by Izmir with 4,175 sales. The least other house sales were realized in Hakkari with 6 house sales.

First house sales in Turkey became 33,443 by decreasing 29.6% compared to the same month of the previous year.

First house sales had a 39.6% share of all house sales in Turkey. The most first house sales were in Istanbul with 6,424 sales. Istanbul was the first province in Turkey ranking that had the most first house sales share with 19.2%.

The followers of Istanbul were Ankara with 2,429 house sales and Izmir with 1,900 house sales.

Second-hand house sales in Turkey became 50,960 by decreasing 8.3% compared to the same month of the previous year.

In the second-hand sales, Istanbul was the first province again with 9,057 sales and 17.8% share. Share of the second-hand sales was 58.5% in Istanbul in total house sales.

Ankara was the second province with 5,090 sales and Ankara was followed by Izmir with 2,897 sales.

In house sales to foreigners became 3,720 by increasing 82.1% compared to the same month of the previous year.

Istanbul was the first province with 1,839 sales in April 2019. The followers of Istanbul were Antalya with 676 house sales, Ankara with 210 house sales, Bursa with 201 house sales and Yalova with 142 house sales.

Iraq citizens bought 533 houses from Turkey in April.

The followers of Iraq were Saudi Arabia with 395 house sales, Iran with 332 house sales, Kuwait and Russia with 202 house sales.
