HUDA PAR assesses the agenda of the world and Turkiye

HUDA PAR assessed; headscarf decision of the Council of State, the project to open masjid in every school, migrants who freeze to death, Chinese oppression in East Turkistan, the death sentences in Egypt, and Yemen peace talks.

Evaluating events in Turkiye and the world agenda HUDA PAR Headquarters issued a written statement on; the headscarf decision of the Council of State, regulations and 28 February, the project launched by Insan Foundation to open masjid in every school, ill-treatment against immigrants, Chinese oppression in East Turkistan, the death sentences in Egypt, and Yemen peace talks.

Emphasizing that the headscarf should be under the Constitutional guarantees, HUDA PAR underlined in the statement that one of the weakest rings in the law is regulations.

"The applications that require the people to be peaceful with their beliefs and values should be guaranteed by the Constitution," HUDA PAR said.

Mentioning about Greece's ill-treatment against the immigrants, the statement read that the cases of backlash, which is against the international conventions, have had worrisome consequences.

Denouncing the opinion of the prosecutor of the Supreme Administrative Court on the headscarf the statement HUDA PAR said headscarf ban was removed on 22.02.2017 by the Ministry of National Defense with the "Regulation on the Amendment of the Turkish Armed Forces Dress Regulation".

"The state prosecutor's claim on the lifting headscarf ban in Turkish Army which said is contrary with the secularism, shows that the system still does not reconcile with the values of the people in Turkiye and that the deceptive mentality of February 28, called "it will last a thousand years" has not yet ended."

"Government should ensure practices that in harmony with people's beliefs and values under constitutional guarantee"

HUDA PAR noted that the applications, which should be in harmony with people's beliefs and values, were not taken under the Constitutional guarantee and that triggering the repressive mindset in the country.

"Unless the government guarantees the freedom of the headscarf and the abolition of obstacles to the freedom of religion and conscience of the individual, there will be attempts by the repressive mindset which has the power and the majority to prohibit these freedoms," HUDA PAR underscored.

"Project to open masjid in every school is promising"

Stating that this project is promising in order to raise a moral and a conscious generation, the statement read as following: "The approval of the project by the Ministry of National Education to open masjid in every school, which initiated by the Insan [Human] Foundation, is promising for the moral and conscious generations to be raised and for our future."

"As HUDA PAR, we will always follow at the point of implementation of such projects and adaptation of our education system to the values of society."

"Inhumane practices of European countries open deep wounds in consciences"

Mentioning the ill-treatment of Greek police against immigrants, the statement read that immigrants freeze to death near the [Greek- Turkiye] border after robbed, undressed and pushed back to Turkiye's border by the Greek police.

"As a result of the lack of humanoid treatment of Greek police against refugees trying to reach Europe, the refugees are freezing death on the border. Dozens of refugees caught on the border of Greece, and are sending back to Turkiye after they undressed and their belongings were taken."

"The cases of backlash that are contrary to international conventions have alarming consequences, but there are no sanctions against Greece by international organizations."

"Allegations, which has been brought up by international human rights organizations, that valuable items of asylum seekers have been confiscated in Denmark, many asylum-seekers children have been missing in European countries, asylum-seekers were not protected against racist attacks, and are being flagged by wearing certain colored bracelets on their arms; are unfortunately not investigated and are not subject to certain sanctions."

"Inhuman practices of European countries open deep wounds in consciences. These violations undermine the credibility of the international organizations, which have the power to impose sanctions and render the Universal Declaration of human rights ineffective."

"Asylum seekers are seen as a commercial gain factor and are subjected to material and moral harm. Inhuman policies against Muslim asylum seekers have led to the drowning of thousands of refugees in the Mediterranean, while the ill-treatment of Greece has turned Greece into a state terror."

"What is happening requires international organizations to act as soon as possible and to implement deterrent measures to prevent violations."

"Turkiye should mobilize international organizations in the face of persecution in East Turkestan"

"The State terrorism continues with all the violence, such as assimilation applied to Uighur Muslims for years by the Chinese state, intervention in the family structure, violations of the housing masher, setting up domination over home and workplaces, and preventing the right to worship."

"Many people who have been thrown into camps and dungeons with unfounded accusations have died from heavy torture, and peaceful demonstrations are suppressed by bloody intervention."

"This situation, which is ignored by many countries, is not voiced also by the political authority in Turkiye. During the visit of former Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım to the region where emphasized the importance of territorial integrity of China despite the fact that all the events in the region have been revealed, the explanation that they will not look positively Uyghur Muslims were involved in terrorism was an unfortunate explanation," HUDA PAR said.

"Those who act on the principle of justice should not consider any strategic relationship or interest more important than human life and should show their reaction to all injustices in action."

Calling on the Turkish government, HUDA PAR said, "Turkiye should take the necessary steps to mobilize international organizations in the face of persecution in East Turkestan."

Execution decisions in Egypt

Evaluating the decision of execution given to 9 Muslim Brotherhood members in Egypt, the statement continued as follow:

"The military junta, with the support of the collaborator countries and the West, has arrested thousands of people without evidence against them and sentenced them to prison under bad conditions."

"The West, which has done actual interventions in the region with the promise of democracy against authoritarian regimes in Islamic geography, has once again revealed its true face by supporting the overthrow of an elected government by a military coup in Egypt."

"The Egyptian junta administration has acted as a mediator for Palestine, which has cut off its vessels to life by closing the border gate and tunnels, just like the zionist regime, to remove the political and economic instability and human rights abuses out of the agenda in the country."

"This is embarrassing for Islamic countries, where justice is forgotten, where interests are considered superior to everything else."

"To seek for the solution of the Yemen problem in Sweden reveals the miserable state of the Islamic world"

"It is announced that peace talks will be held in Sweden for the end of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, where hundreds of thousands of people have been killed by hunger and attacks of the international coalition led by Saudi Arabia. To seek for the solution of the Yemen problem in Sweden reveals the miserable state of the Islamic world."

"However, it can be seen as a positive step in Yemen if it will prevent civil war and Muslim bloodshed. If these talks fail to succeed, innocent people in the midst of the conflict will continue to die, starvation and epidemics and it will cause the devastation of the country and civilization."

Yemen, one of the poorest countries in the world, has become even poorer due to the Civil War and almost a generation has been destroyed. First, a cease-fire must be provided between the parties."

"International aid organizations should also deliver food and medicines urgently to the region and then a political process in which all sectors are taken into consideration should be started."
