HUDA PAR Van Province Head Atty. Rasim Sayğın stated that “bars, nightclubs, restaurants serving alcohol and discos” opened for tourists coming to the city have increased their activities which opposed to the moral values of society and bastardize young people.

“Tourists who come to our city should act in accordance with the moral values of our society"

Stressing that it is important that moral values should prioritize Sayğın said: “It is necessary for the tourists who come to our city to behave sensitively by adding the account of our society, especially our customs, ethical values, and lifestyle, and taking into account the sensitivity of our people to these issues. However, we see that the tourists, especially the ones from Iran, are tourists with unfamiliar attitudes and behaviors as if they have gone to one of the non-Muslim European countries, not Van.”

“We cannot close our eyes to these and we cannot remain silent”

Stating that open of bars, nightclubs, and restaurants serving alcohol unacceptable in many places in Van province, Sayğın:

“Those who come from Iran are allowed to open these places. These places have become prostitution and drug stores, and all kinds of malice are being processed. Likewise, some hotels and apart hotels are also used for these tasks. All these; disturbing our families, causing our young people to deteriorate in the moral direction and spoil our society. It is not possible to accept them. We cannot close our eyes to them at all and we cannot remain silent.”
