President Erdoğan said in a speech at the mass opening ceremony held in front of the governorate of Manisa, “The demand for the execution will come to the parliament. Erdoğan reacted strongly to the words of CHP with the new constitutional amendment saying "they will abolish the Parliament", Erdoğan said, "Do not speak lie, and speak truth. "If we believed that Turkiye could achieve its goal with the existing system, we would not step on the constitutional amendment"

Erdoğan said, “If we were to believe that the current system could achieve the goal of Turkiye, we would not take even the smallest step in the constitutional amendment. We see this for 14 years and we know what is what.”

Emphasizing that the management system has changed for stability and trust, Erdoğan said, “There are attacks on every front to our country. From terrorism to economy, every way is used. It is necessary to continue the struggle with the right methods. The current system could not even provide the needs of Turkiye yesterday. We do want this system to be just for our nationality. We want it to be easier for Turkiye to reach its goals.”

"We may pave the way for referendum if necessary"

Referring to the discussions on "Execution" Erdoğan also said: "The request for the execution will come to the parliament, and when it comes to me, I approve it when it pass to Parliament.
