In the press statement made in HUDA PAR Diyarbakır Provincial Building Yapıcıoğlu highlighted that it was the US backed all the military coup staged in Turkiye.

Reminding that one year has passed over the coup attempt the left 250 martyrs, Yapıcıoğlu wished mercy for those who martyred and patience and condolences to their families.

Yapıcıoğlu said, “It is possible to call the July 15th attempt ‘an attempt to make the country ready for occupation’ or ‘an attempt to drag it into civil war.’ The owner of these sinister attempts made preparations for 40 years, accumulated power and fortune devolved men and set up traps. They were paved, their persecutions were just watched and they grew up consuming others with state support.”

Yapıcıoğlu stated that the greatest harm was given to religious institutions and concepts because FETO has conducted the activities under the name of the congregation in order to screen the treacherous plans and to delay the realization of their true intentions.

“It is not possible to put Islamic congregations on the same scale as FETO”

Yapıcıoğlu stated that it is not possible to place Islamic congregations on the same scale as FETO. “How it is not possible for the soldiers or the military institution itself to be corrupted because of the military coup attempting with military uniforms, it is not possible to put the Islamic concept or congregation conception on the same scale with FETO.”

“Islamic congregations were at the head of those who resist the coup attempt on July 15th,” said Yapıcıoğlu and continued, “We remind of those who forget this matter, and we warn people once again that they must be alert against those who want to make forget. We say to our nationality that they do not let somebody play their revolution that they did a year ago.”
