In Ankara 30th Criminal Court in the case where Demirtaş was “the complainant”, the prosecutor adjudged that “killer” expression is a crime that used by HUDA PAR Advisory Board Member Süleyman Atmaca, journalist-author Adem Özköse, Anatolia Agency correspondent Ibrahim Toprak and Nevvab Temel.

The court reduced the sentence of 3 months imprisonment to 2 months and 15 days and then decided to release the ruling for 5 years. The defendants will be sentenced to 2 months and 15 days imprisonment if they commit any crime during this period because they said “killer” to Demirtaş.

“Selahaddin Demirtaş called people to take in streets on October 6-7 and caused 40 citizens to be killed. ‘Killer of our citizens Selahaddin Demirtaş, the provocateur should be judged’ I tweeted on my twitter account. These tweets are within the scope of freedom of expression,” said Özköse while the hearing was continuing.

“As a Muslim, I will continue to say killer to a killer”

“If it is crime to say ‘killer’ to a killer in this country, the public should know as a Muslim I'm going to continue to say killer to the killer. There is Allah then no problem. And I do not regret to say what they are for those who involved in the murdered martyr Yasin Börü and his friends. Long live the divine justice!” said Özköse on his social media account after the decision.
