"Without price comes no success," President Erdoğan stated at the beginning of his speech and continued: “Our victory on July 15 was the result of a huge sacrifice. It was the result of the courage shown by our martyrs and veterans who challenged tanks and warplanes that night as well as of our people's resistance."

Pointing out that the people in Turkiye did not allow Turkiye to be subdued and be made a satellite of imperialists by the hands of FETO, President Erdoğan added: "July 15 is the victory of all Turkiye. It is also the victory of all the oppressed across the world fighting for justice and freedom."

Noting that July 15 has shown Turkiye who its true friends are, President Erdoğan said: "We have also noted down in our memory the hypocrisies we witnessed during the July 15 incidents. We will never forget who prayed for us that night and who strived for the success of FETO. We will never lump those, who supported our democracy from the very beginning of the coup attempt, in with those, who stood by the putschists."

President Erdoğan further stressed that Turkiye will never forget the unprincipled stance of those who embraced with open arms the putschists that fled Turkiye in the aftermath of the coup attempt.

Highlighting Turkiye's determination to maintain its fight against FETO both at home and abroad, President Erdoğan stated: "We have substantially destroyed the FETO formations in the areas of state administration, business world, bureaucracy, trade, media and civil society over the past 2 years. So far, in 16 countries, our intensive diplomatic efforts resulted in the shutting down of the hotbeds of fitnah that the FETO established under the name of the school. Over 80 leading operatives of FETO have been brought back to Turkiye from the countries they had fled to. The ongoing trials in our country have gradually started to be finalized. The perpetrators are being meticulously identified, and the murderers, who opened fire on our people, are being sentenced to the heaviest penalties. We will resolutely maintain this fight within the boundaries of law until the last FETO-member traitor is brought to justice."
