President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the members of the Association of the Judicial Unity, emphasizing that even if there is a single innocent victim in a case, there will be no mention of justice there, and added "Even if we were not conscientiously satisfied, we didn’t intervene more sharply in the matter to defraud the independence of the judiciary. Indeed, at that time, those who were in critical positions within the judicial bureaucracy had emerged later, that they have derailed their jobs with order of the organization."

That the concept of justice has a history similar to the history of mankind; President Erdoğan pointed out that justice came at the beginning of the topics that they talked about most, the prophets, social scientists and philosophers, " Wherever justice is established, peace, prosperity and stability prevail. On the other hand, wherever the notion and system of justice is not established properly, conflicts, unbalances and atrocities run rampart. We see these facts once again in a series of bitter traditions and high costs that have been experienced in recent history. The world is now paying heavy, painful prices of this."

President Erdogan paid attention to the fact that in this troubled period, FETO had begun to infiltrate into the rhetoric that it attached special importance to with other state institutions and continued: “Surely, this organization has a 40-year long past. They did not achieve to infiltrate in such a short time,” the President said, and added: “The mentality and organizational structure of this organization convenient to abuse all kinds of good will. They worked on the sly. We all witnessed that they were gaining power in many places. The FETO used the support we gave to the judiciary to struggle against pro-coup, pro-junta, pro-tutelage circles in order to pave the way for its militants. This not only led to the occupation of posts but also gravely harmed our struggle against pro-coup, pro-junta, pro-tutelage circles.”
