Kurdistan Islamic Society Movement (Komel) which had the negative attitude since the beginning of the process with the Movement for Change (Goran) against the independence referendum in the Iraq Kurdistan Region, has made a written statement that they are going to use “yes” vote.

In a statement issued by Komel, “Undoubtedly the answer will be yes if ask every Kurd about independence. On this occasion, the Islamic Society Movement, we say “yes” for the Kurdistan's independence referendum.”
