“My faith and my children bond me with the life”

The disabled man who attention-grabbing by his sympathetic and cheerful behavior, said that they are faith and his family that bond him with the life.

Some of the disabled in the world are adapting daily life with their effords, some other disabled people continue their life with the help of other.

According to data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute [TURKSTAT], approximately 120 thousand people living in Diyarbakır. Erol Taş, 39-years-old President of the Physical Disabilities Youth Sports Club and the Deputy Chairman of the Physical Disabilities Association is one of them.

Taş, father of two children and attention-grabbing with his sympathetic and cheerful behaviors, lives in a wheelchair because of physical disability.

It takes the appreciation of both the family and the surrounding people that Taş acts with the awareness that the life is a temporary test rather than being pessimism.

Working as a telephone exchange operator at Dicle University Science Faculty, Erol Taş spends time with his family and friends after working hours.

Taş continuing the efforts of the associations to find solutions to the problems of the disabled, stating that each person is a disabled candidate, said that the value of health should be known.

Taş telling about his daily life, “I wake up like everyone else, wash my face. After having my breakfast I read newspapers. I go to work on weekdays. I spend time with my friends in my spare time, sometimes I go to the cinema. My precious time is the times I spend with my children. They are my faith and my family bond me with the life.”

Taş who thanks to Allah for blessings given to him, emphasized that everyone should look at the blessings that the contemplative is very important.

“If Allah has taken our leg then we have arms and heart”

Taş, who said that is the greatest blessing of Allah to look at a flower and a beetle, especially children and said: “When we look at them, we see that the Supreme Creator gives all for our services. If God has taken our leg then we have arms. If He taken our eyes and ears then the brain and heard are enough. We should look at life with a joke. We should not care what other say. This is my greatest source of joy.”

“The energy that the youth gives us is different”

Taş expressed that the sincere behaviors of university students motivates him and said, “Time is very cheerful for me. I am very cheerful with my friends. We drink tea and chat. Of course, the energy that the youth gives us is very important.
