Within the scope of the visit to Silopi, HUDA PAR Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesman Mehmet Yavuz made important evaluation on the agenda.

Yavuz stated that during the visit to Şırnak’s Silopi they have found the opportunity to examine the inhabitants' troubles and demands in place and stated that there are serious changes in Şırnak after the lift of curfew.

Yavuz said, “We, as the party, as well as our General Chairman and other officials made visit to here. We had the opportunity to see the situation in our people from the first hand. We had the opportunity to meet with NGO representatives operating in the region in person. Today we were in the center of Şırnak. We came to Silopi during the day. The situation that our region have been in for the past 2 years has upset us. The wrong, non-ethnic political conflict, emerged chaos, anarchy and restlessness. Our people have been prisoned to live a great deal of suffering between two fires since 40 years. Instead of extinguishing the existing fire, the parties to this dirty conflict pour gasoline on fire and sacrifice the people to their “good interests” or to the interests of the organization.”

“Islamic and human values of Kurdish people related to language and identity are sabotaged”

Yavuz said that the just and humanitarian and innocent requests of the Kurdish people were abused by the organization. “In this direction, the values ​​of human and Islamic values ​​related to the language and identity of the Kurdish people are sabotaged.”

“These dark structures are a barrier to the political dissolution of the Kurdish issue. Therefore, the politics that are put forward cause the disruption of the peace of our people and the continuation of the conflict. Along with being a partial relief, especially the province of Şırnak has been severely damaged. The curfew has been lifted, but we have observed that there are no streets remained in many places. In this sense, our citizens have serious concerns and complaints especially for the administrators. In particular, the citizens whose houses have been destroyed say that the work moving very slowly.”

“Renounce of party interests should be done when it comes to the welfare of people”
