Over 400 children deprive even the simplest rights in zionist dungeons

The Palestinian 400 children prisoners, held in the dungeons of occupying gangs, are deprived of their simplest rights.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Association reported that 400 children, who were arrested under 18, are held captive in the occupation dungeons.

The association issued a statement before the annual "Palestinian Children's Day", which was celebrated on April 5 each year, and said the occupation gangs have hijacked nearly 10,000 children since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Intifada September 2000.

Many children are over 18 years old, those arrested when they were under 18, are still held captive.

The association called on the international community and children's rights advocates to intervene urgently to end the suffering of Palestinian children in the occupation dungeons.

The association said that the occupiers arrest the Palestinian children during night raids are transferred to the interrogation and detention centers where they suffer abuses, including being deprived of food or water, while were severely beaten.

The statement also noted that children who had been subjected to ill-treatment, threats and insults in security centers had received confessions under torture and pressure. Children are often forced to sign statements written in Hebrew - a language they cannot read.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Association said that since the start of the intifada in October 2015, the number of Palestinian children prisoners in the occupation dungeons has reached the highest level since February 2009 and has exceeded 400.

There has been some progress in the subject of Palestinian children prisoners in the last four years the statement read while the occupation has issued laws allowing children prisoners to be sentenced to ten years and even life imprisonment.
