Pakistan re-opens airspace for flights

Pakistan, which had closed its airspace after its tensions with India, announced Monday it is reopening its airspace.

The Pakistani army shot down 2 Indian fighter jets entering the Pakistanis airspace caused the tension to rise between the two neighboring countries.

Pakistan announced that it had closed its airspace for flights after the tension rose with India. Pakistan Civil Aviation Administration announced Monday that it fully re-opened airspace for the flights.

After the airspace was closed for flights, approximately 800 Pakistani were stranded for 6 days at Bangkok Airport in Thailand.

Pakistanis are expected to return to their home after the decision.
