The spokesman for the Prophet Lovers Foundation, Yahya Oğraş, provided information about the al-Sira al-Nabawiyya exam they plan to be held across Turkiye.

Yahya Oğraş, a spokesperson for the Prophet Lovers Foundation, issued a statement on Al-Sira exam they will hold in across Turkiye on February 17 under the slogan "read him and live him".

Stating that the exam will take place in 4 categories, Oğraş invited all the Prophet lovers to participate in the exam.

Reminding that the exam applications began on December 15, Oğraş announced the deadline as February 4 for the exam that will be held in the form of 4 categories.

"Now we have made it a routine and we can see that there is a considerable amount of participation, which there is an increase in years," said Oğraş.

Stating that their aim is beyond increasing participation numbers, Oğraş explained that their aim is the book of life of Prophet Muhammad to be read, His life to be learned and to be lived.

"We set out with the slogan, 'read Him and live Him'. We are trying to keep our Muslim people to read the life of Prophet, to remember Him and live His life as part of their lives," he added.

The exam will take place in 4 categories

Regarding the exam categories, Oğraş said: "We are trying to carry out this exam in the form of 4 categories as in the previous years. For the first category, which only the 4th and 5th-grade students can enter, we have determined the book of 'Prophet Muhammad, the best example'."

"Our second category book is 'Our beloved Prophet,'. Students in 6,7 and 8 grades can participate in this category. 'Learning Prophet Muhammad,' book is for the 3rd category exam. Students in 9, 10, 11 and 12 grades can enter this exam."

Stating that the book for the 4th category is 'Rasul al-Akram', Oğraş said students in universities or graduated can enter this exam.

Calling on the authorities to make convenience in arranging the exam, Oğraş said: "The existence and holiness of such a love is an honor that is accepted with respect and reverence by everyone. While we effort to make the al-Sira exam, some the authorities of the state are engaged in arbitrary and impulsive practices on this issue from time to time."

"We ask them to do not consider this [exam] is under the monopoly of any structure. This is the common ground of all of us. In this common ground, each brother must make a contribution and make this work easier. We are not doing this for our own personal benefit. We are trying to revive the spirit of the Ummah," Oğraş said.
