Salawat campaign will continue throughout March and April said Prophet Lovers Foundation in a statement, which read by Hakan Ayçoban on behalf of the foundation. Prophet Lovers has invited all people, who have the love for the Prophet, to participate in the Salawat campaign.

"Praise is to our Lord, who has brought us out of darkness to light, and to the messenger of Allah [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], the leader of the Muttaqin," said Ayçoban at the beginning of the message.

Reading a verse from the Holy Qur'an, (Ahzab 56), "Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace," Ayçoban continued with a hadith regarding salawat, "Whoever supplicates Allah to exalt my mention, Allah will exalt his mention ten times."

"It is our duty to send salawats upon him and to glorify him"

Reminding that as the foundation, they carry salawat campaign every year, Ayçoban said: "All the Prophet lovers who will participate in this sweet campaign should enthusiastically continue their prayers by increasing salawats in their tongues and hearts during the month of March and April."

"Prophet says 'the closest people to me on the day of resurrection are those who send me salawats and peace the most,' so it is our duty to send salawats upon the messenger of Allah and glorify him without limitation of time and space, to be able to reach that level," Ayçoban said.

"His name is a healing for the hearts and cure for sufferers"

"Not any believer should forget that streets have found peace by hearing the name of Him; houses will be illuminated by His name; business places will be blessed by His name," Ayçoban said.

Stating that it is not a matter of preference to love the Prophet Muhammad [PBUH], Ayçoban underlined that it is a necessity and a divine command. "We are aware that even mentioning the name of Prophet Muhammad (Alaihis-Salaam) has a positive impact on the individual and society."

Adding that the name of Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] is a healing for the hearts and cure for the sufferers, Aydoğan went on saying: "Those who want the happiness of this world and the hereafter can cultivate their hearts by sending salawats upon him. In order to be forgiven, to be close to him, tongues must be busy by saying the name of the messenger of Allah [PBUH]."

"We must mobilize our families, spouses, children, relatives, and friends to contribute to this blessed campaign. O Prophet Lovers! From seven to seventy, we invite all the beloved prophets to participate in the campaign of Salawat and not to be left behind from this blessed act. Peace and blessings on the Prophet of mercy."
