Every day there is a new event happening about the growing Islamic hostility in the West. Finally, in the case of the UK's capital city in London, a torn Qur'an page with the word “evil” written across it was sent in an envelope to a Muslim family.

In Britain, where verbal and de facto attacks against Muslims are often experienced, the latest incident was met with reaction. Measuring Anti-Muslim Attacks [MAMA], which investigates the dimensions of anti-Muslim hatred, says that a torn Qur'an page with the word “evil” written from within the envelope sent to a Muslim family in London, the capital of England.

Investigating the dimensions of anti-Muslim hatred in England TellMama which serves since February 21, 2012, said that verbal and actual attacks on Muslims were three times more in a report it has published before.

In the last case in England, the father who opened the letter confronted a torn Qur’an page with the word “evil” written across of it.

According to the information given by the daughter of the family to MAMA, she was shocked by the disrespect of her father who opened the envelope sent to her home address and was extremely disturbed by it.

“It’s hard to describe the emotion I felt when my father who was very disturbed by it, showed it to me. I think my initial reaction was shocking, followed by anger and then a sense of fear,” said the girl of the family and added that:

“As a family, this has come at a horrible time. It has been barely 2 months since my father buried his mother who was a massive part of our lives. She lived with us for over 20 years so her loss is one we are all still very much dealing with. So now, this sense of being targeted and even watched is a terrible feeling. However, I am also touched by the overwhelming support and positive messages I have received. It goes to show that our community is in majority a fantastic one with a few exceptions. I find comfort in this.”

Regarding the provocative incident, the British authorities have yet to make a statement. It is known that attacks on Muslims are increasing in different countries of Europe outside of England. According to some reports, the organizing of racist and Islamic enemy structures are being ignored consciously.
