The 14th trial of murder suspects of Yasin Börü, Hüseyin Dakak, Riyad Güneş and Hasan Gökgöz, who were murdered by PKK/HDP on the attacks of October 6-7 2014 in Diyarbakır where 41 defendant are on trial was adjourned to 3rd of April because the defendants’ lawyers didn’t attend to the hearing.

Painful martyrs families reacted to the attitude of defendant lawyers said that they had come to Ankara since October of 2015 and that this process has turned into an oppression for themselves.

The painful families who spoke to ILKHA after the hearing reacted that delayed justice is not justice and they came from Diyarbakir for 2 thousand kilometers to Ankara for every trial, and reacted to the postponement of hearing every time for simple reasons.

Mehmet Gökgöz, the father of the martyr Hasan Gökgöz, reacted to the failure of defendants’ lawyers to participate in the hearing, stated that defendants lawyers deliberately preferred to delay the court and that the chairman was delayed from standing despite the fact that he was able to request lawyers from bar association.

Gökgöz stated that delayed justice is not justice, and added, “This process is a cruelty to us. We are not going for an hour, we go away for 2 thousand kilometers every time and come back. Lawyers have deliberately opted to postpone the trial. The presiding judge could also request lawyers from bar association. We came to this court to be concluded. We will be back in 10 days. Since the start of this case, we are constantly making tidal traffic. We want the court to conclude as soon as possible.”

“Punishment must be given to those who poured those people into streets”

Indicating that they are not finding enough the punishment for only a few gunmen but also instigators should be punished said Gökgöz, “They must also include the instigators in the court. It does not make any sense for us to punish a few triggermen. Punishment must be given to those who poured those people into streets. Because the greatest blame committed by instigators. I hope that the court will come to an end in the nest hearing.”

Öztekin Dakak, the father of the martyr Hüseyin Dakak, said that they had been coming to Ankara since October of 2015 and that this process was almost an oppression for them, voiced that they do not expect a fair decision to be made in this court.

“They loll against PKK/PYD, and we loll against Allah”

Dakak said, "This is the 14th time we come from Diyarbakır to Ankara. This court is not a fair court. We have stated in every court that the instigators must be included in the court. We trust Allah and we take refuge in Allah. They have loll to PKK/PYD, we have loll to Allah. Allah willing that Selahattin Demirtas, Zübeyde Zümrüt, Gülten Kisanak and Figen Yüksekdağ never get out of there. Our demand that they include to this court.”

“We want this court to come to an end soon”

Yasin Börü's father, Fikri Börü, expressed his reaction as follows, "We have been victims by going and coming back. We want this case come to an end as soon as possible. They must punish those who deserve the punishment. We want also the criminals to be prosecuted at the same time. The instigators are involved hundred percent to the of 6-7 October incidents. We also want them to be tried and punished for the events of October 6-7.”
