Public Officer Union General Chairman Ali Yalçın reacted to the closing of the worship of the Masjid al-Aqsa following the massacre of three Palestinian in the yard of the Masjid.

Reminding that on the 14th of July, occupying Israeli soldiers murdered 3 Palestinian young by hailing of bullets on them in the yard of Masjid al-Aqsa and that the Zionists who were not satisfied with it were also preventing ambulances from entering the Masjid.

Yalçın stated that the invader regime that closed the worship of the Masjid al-Aqsa placed metal call detectors in the mosque, partially opening the worship.

Yalçın, who draws attention to the insidious plans of the Zionist regime, “Zionists are stepping up their plans to demolish Masjid al-Aqsa in the name of archeological excavation and replace with zion temple. The words of israeli Interior Minister Gilad Erdan 'the lord of the Masjid al-Aqsa and its surrounding is israel,’ reveals this fact.”

Yalçin stated that the Palestinian people were destroyed in the face of the silence of the Islamic world and the international community and the support of the global powers. Yalçın said that since the beginning of the Jerusalem Intifada, which started on October 2, 2015, 338 Palestinians have been martyred and since the beginning of 2017, 59 Palestinians have martyred which 94 of them were under 18.”

Yalçın continued: “The Zionist terrorist regime, is preparing the ground for Jerusalem to be the capital city, which is one of the election promises of Trump. We know that Israel measures the reactions of Muslims to the attacks that it has increased in this recent period. Because the pirate state takes its power from the silence of the Islamic world and humanity, we cannot remain silent to the screams of the Masjid al-Aqsa. The Palestinians along with the Ummah were standing and praying on the night of July 15. Our part is to defend the cause of Quds and to take sides with the Palestinian people.”

Yalçın said that “Jerusalem and Masjid al-Aqsa are not the problem of the Palestinians but of the whole Ummah. This problem cannot be solved by the just declaration of condemnation. Turkiye should be more active in this issue. Relations with Israel which does not fulfill the promise given to Turkiye after Mavi Marmara, our sounds should be raised on international platforms along with the voice of the Palestinians.”
