In the program held in Scholars and Madrasa Association [İttihad'ul Ulama] headquarters, the poor situation of Islamic Ummah was drawn attention and emphasizes were made on leaving conflicts and animosity aside to overcome the existing problems.

Mehmet Şenlik, Vice-President of Uttihad’ul Ulama, made a speech on the program, referring to the present situation of the Islamic ummah, said:

“Today whole the Ummah experience oppression life. Because there is no head of the ummah. There is no imam or a guide. The number of Muslims never increased that far from the very first time of İslam. But never perhaps this disheveled had happened. Idleness has reduced them to abasement. There is persecution in everywhere. Note that today there is not fighting of a jew with a jewish, a Christian is not fighting another Christian. A jew is not fighting with a Christian or a Christian to a jew, not to buddhist.  But they are all fighting with Islam, Muslims. That not enough, the worse and painful that Muslims are fighting each other.”

Şenlik said, "There are so many things that happened to the oppressed; which one will you talk about, Halabja, Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Afghanistan? 5,000 people in Halabja were massacred by chemical weapon. They overthrow a management in Egypt that came fore with a majority, because they were intolerance.”

Attracting attention to the fragmentation, disheveled and weakness of the Muslims, Şenlik continued as follows:

“When you are in pieces, they are trying to recycle these pieces one by one. And they say not to enter this business. They say, ‘You have a certain border, you have a flag, your country, your state, you stay busy with those so you are only responsible for one room of the house, not responsible for other parts of the house, we are responsible for those parts, we will intervene.’ They put fences between us, drown borders. But there is no an obstacle for themselves. But we need to think carefully about what we must do to get rid of this disorder. The time for us to enmity our Muslim brother has gone. Let it go.”
