Trump protested in Palestine

In support of Palestinian prisoners who continue hunger strike action in occupation prisons, the Palestinians marched in the town of Beytlahim [Bethlehem], in south of West Bank, protesting US President Donald Trump's visit to the region.

The group, who often walked with the slogan “America is the head of snake”, reacted to Trump's visit.

US President Trump, in his visit to the Saudi regime, made a speech at the summit of leaders of Arab and Islamic countries in Riyadh, calling it Islamic Resistance Movement [HAMAS] as a terrorist organization, and it took the reaction of Muslims.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas under intensive security measures in Beytlahim.

Abbas and Trump held press conferences together after the view in Beytlahim. While Trump expressed support for Abbas to support the Palestinian economy and discussed “ways of fighting terrorism”, Abbas stated that he had no problems with Judaism and that his problems were with occupation.

In Washington and Riyadh, Mahmud Abbas said that all of today's opinion in Beytlahim is fruitful and useful for the follow-up of political cases, he said, hoping Trump’s visit will be productive and useful.

As a result of US President Trump's visit, hundreds of police in Beytlahim took intensive security measures and some roads were closed to traffic.
