Turkey’s confirmed coronavirus cases rise by 29,386: Health Ministry
227 more people have died due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 63,638, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 7,124,966, after 29,386 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 600 patients are in critical condition, more than 6,6 million patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
About 86 million tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
