Turkey’s coronavirus death toll rises to 64,467
203 more people have died due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 64,467, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 7,210,916, after 27,973 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 633 patients are in critical condition, 6,664,242 patients suffering from the disease have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
At least 87 million tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
