Turkey’s industrial production rises by 13.8% annually
Industrial production increased by 13.8% annually in August, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Tuesday.
When the subsectors of the industry (based on 2015=100) were examined, mining and quarrying index increased by 9.4%, manufacturing index increased by 14.2% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 9.4% in August 2021, compared with same month of previous year.
Industrial production increased by 5.4% monthly
When the subsectors of the industry were examined, mining and quarrying index decreased by 1.7%, manufacturing index increased by 6.3% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index decreased by 0.2% in August 2021, compared with previous month.
