US to send 5,000 troops to the Gulf
The US is preparing to send 5,000 troops to the Gulf to be a deterrent to the growing tension with Iran.
The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) will give a briefing to the top security units on Thursday to send thousands of troops to the Gulf to be a deterrent to the growing tension between the US and Iran.
The Pentagon said the troops could not be dispatched at a time due to a large number of places and added that if necessary, the region would be strengthened.
Together with the troops, long-range ballistic missiles, defense systems, submarines, ships, and Tomahawk missiles will be sent to the region.
