Turkey reports 11,937 new coronavirus cases, 203 deaths
203 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 45,186, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 5,139,485, after 11,937 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 2,232 patients are in critical condition, 4,971,245 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
More than 51,294,008 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
