Tension between India and Pakistan can lead to catastrophy: HUDA PAR

The weekly external agenda assessment by HUDA PAR warned that the rise of tensions between India and Pakistan could lead to major catastrophy.

In its assessment of the external agenda, HUDA PAR headquarters drew attention to the tension between India and Pakistan and the summit held between EU leaders and Egypt.

At the EU Summit held in Egypt, the Arab League secretary showed Turkiye and Iran as the only responsible for the problems in the region, revealing the Saudi shadow on the summit, HUDA PAR said.

In the recent tense between India and Pakistan, the rise of tensions between the two countries could lead to major catastrophy, the statement read, underlining the possibility of massive massacres due to nuclear weapons.

Many current issues were discussed in the summit held last week in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, when eighteen countries from Europe attended at the level of President, Prime Minister, and foreign minister, while half of the Arab League members did not attend at the summit.

"The summit became void before it started while the countries that claim to have conducted policies over universal human rights attended to the summit in Egypt, which has recently executed 9 members of Muslim Brotherhood with unjust accusations and ruling by an illegitimate coup," HUDA PAR said.

"The declaration of the result proposed to establish a Palestinian state with the capital of eastern Jerusalem at the borders of 1967. The fact that this proposal has been made is worrying about the division of Jerusalem and that the occupation is justified.

The main critical point of the summit is that the members of the European Union have joined a summit where important issues in the Islamic geography are discussed rather than Arab union members. In other words, the real problem here is that the problems of Islamic geography have to be addressed to the Europeans.

However, almost all of the problems in Islamic geography are inherited from European countries. At this summit, the Arab League secretary showed Turkiye and Iran as the only responsible for the problems in the region; revealed the shadow of Saudi Arabia on the summit, also revealed that the incitement of aggression and antagonism has been adopted rather than the culture of reconciliation.

"It is not possible for European countries to be part of the solution to the refugee problem"

It is tragicomic that the countries, which constitute the source of xenophobia, irregular migration, and refugee problems, raise various proposals for a solution to the refugee problem at the summit.

Refugees are imprisoned in concentration camps in European Union countries, their homes and workplaces are exposed for possible attacks, the security forces are mistreating asylum seekers at border crossings and property of refugees are confiscated.

Therefore, it is not possible for European countries to be part of the solution to the refugee problem.

"No problem that Europe and the United States have intervened so far has been resolved"

"The problems of Islamic geography can only be solved by the countries in the region. No problem that Europe and the United States have intervened has not been solved until today. Therefore, this summit was not intended to produce a solution.

The strategy developed by the United States against Iran, Palestine, and Turkiye in this geography in conjunction with Saudi and Egypt was tried to legitimize at this summit.

It is not possible for these and similar initiatives to bring peace to the geography of Islam.

The borders between India and Pakistan were drawn by the British without considering the demographic structure of the region, the statement said.

The tension that began with a bomb attack on the militia force in the Indian occupied part of Kashmir, killed 44 people on February 14, reached its peak while both countries claimed that they shot down each other's fighter jets.

Tension continues in the region with mutual shelling. The main factor of tension between the two countries is the Kashmir issue. When India and Pakistan gained their freedom in 1947, the British deliberately drew their borders without considering the demographic structure of the region.

Therefore, the first war began in the same year. According to the Treaty signed in 1949 under the auspices of the UN, India has not withdrawn from the territories it occupied, although it has been decided to determine Kashmir's future by Kashmiris.

India tries to justify the power it uses by claiming that the insurgents are financed by Pakistan. Since 2016, nearly 200 civilians have been killed and thousands have been injured by Indian security forces in Kashmir.

More than 100 people lost their eyes with plastic bullets during protests while a least 20,000 people dragged to courtrooms on various accusations.

"It should not be forgotten that the war, which could cause a major catastrophy as a result of the rise of tensions between the two countries, could cause serious massacres due to nuclear weapons and should not be forgotten that it could lead to permanent loss of peace in the region," HUDA PAR underlined.

When we consider the USA's new interest in the region over Saudi, it is possible to see the traces of the major imperialist's games there. It is inevitable that Turkiye, Iran, Russia and China, countries that directly related to the region, to hold a conference in accordance with the decision taken by the UN in 1949 that it is the right of Kashmiri people to determine their own future.
