14.97 percent hike in natural gas price in Turkey

Energy Market Regulatory Authority [EPDK] reported a 13.73 percent to 14.97 percent hike in natural gas prices.

The EPDK announced an average increase of 14.97 percent in the final gas sales prices for 300 thousand cubic meters per year and below consumers, including residential consumers, as part of the wholesale natural gas prices announced by the Petroleum Transportation Joint Stock Company.

A 13.73 hike made for the consumers uses of 300 thousand cubic meters per year and more in Organized Industrial Zones.

The statement said the new prices will be effective from August 1, 2019.
