19 dead, 30 wounded as four cars crashed in Egypt

At least 19 people were killed and 30 injured in the blast, which was caused by a collision of four vehicles in Cairo, Egypt's capital.

According to a written statement from Egypt's illegitimate Interior Ministry, a vehicle headed in the opposite direction near the Cancer Institute in the central part of the capital hit three vehicles coming from opposite directions.

The impact of the crash caused an explosion in the vehicles.

Nineteen people were killed and 30 injured in the incident when vehicles were burned by the blast.

Some parts of the Cancer Institute have been evacuated following the crash near Tahrir Square, the Health Ministry said in a statement.
