The bus carrying mostly workers traveling home for Eid Al Adha, the “Feast of Sacrifice”, rammed into a truck on a highway in eastern Punjab province, killing at least 28 people and injuring 40, Pakistani officials said.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where some of them remain in critical condition.
