39 drug dealers arrested in Turkey’s capital last week

Turkish police took 365 suspected drug traffickers into custody during counter-narcotic operations in Ankara last week, the Provincial Police Department said in a statement.

During these operations, they seized 2,700 kilograms of cannabis, 1,300 kg of methamphetamine, 1 kg of heroin, 1,000 ecstasy pills, and over 23,900 other types of narcotic pills.

Of the 365 suspects held in the operations, 39 were arrested.
