7.1 magnitude earthquake hits off Indonesia coast

An earthquake of magnitude 7.1 struck the Indonesian Talaud Islands near the Philippines on Thursday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) announced.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 122 kilometers, EMSC said.

No casualties or injuries have been reported yet.
