An operation was carried out by the Provincial Police Department and the Provincial Gendarmerie Command in rural areas of Beytüşşebap, district of Şırnak, announced Turkish Interior Ministry.
As part of internal security operations, 9 PKK members were neutralized along with their weapons in an air-assisted operation in the countryside of Beytüşşebap district, the statement read.
Operations are reportedly underway in the area.
