A 3.5 magnitude earthquake jolts northwestern Turkey

The offshore quake took place at 13.19 TSI, according to Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency.

The epicenter of the earthquake was near the Bigadiç district of Turkey's northwestern Balıkesir province.
