A 3.7 magnitude earthquake hits off western Turkey

The 3.7 magnitude quake has struck off Turkey off its Aegean Sea coast on Sunday.

According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the magnitude 3.7 quake occurred at 16.26 TSI off the Karaburun district of Izmir province.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a latitude of 38.9306 degrees north and a longitude of 26.0701 degrees east, and at a depth of 11.49 km.
