A 3.8 magnitude earthquake jolts southwestern Turkey

The 3.8 magnitude quake hit the Marmaris district of Turkey’s southwestern Muğla province earlier Monday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The earthquake occurred at around 00:44 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 36.8300 degrees north and a longitude of 28.1010 degrees east, and at a depth of 62.10 km.
