A 4.1 magnitude earthquake jolts western Turkey

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake has occurred in Manisa province of western Turkey at 8.56 a.m. on Sunday, Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The epicenter of the earthquake was Akhisar district of Manisa province at a depth of 7 kilometers.  

So far no reports of any casualty or damage has yet been received.

The earthquake caused panic among the residents of the region.
