A 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurs in west-central Syria

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake has shaken the Hama Governorate of Syria, Turkey’s Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute announced on Monday.

The earthquake took placed at around 16:47 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 35°12'43.2" degrees north and a longitude of 36°52'52.3" degrees east, and at a depth of 62.4 km.

There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage from the earthquake.
