A 4.2 magnitude earthquake jolts eastern Turkey

The 4.2 quake hit the Korkut district of Muş province on Wednesday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The earthquake occurred at around 11:47 a.m., with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.6975 degrees north and a longitude of 42.0508 degrees east, and at a depth of 11.15 km.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
