A 4.3 magnitude earthquake shakes eastern Turkey

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake has shaken the Tercan district of Turkey’s eastern Erzincan province, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on Wednesday.

The earthquake occurred at around 12:16 p.m., with its epicenter at a latitude of 39.8691 degrees north and a longitude of 40.1658 degrees east, and at a depth of 6.79 km.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damages to buildings.
