A 4.9 magnitude earthquake jolts southeastern Iran

A 4.9 magnitude earthquake has taken place in Faryab city of Kerman province, Iranian Seismological Center said on Sunday.

The earthquake occurred at around 07:34 local time (1604GMT), with its epicenter at a latitude of 28.146 degrees north and a longitude of 56.928 degrees east, and at a depth of 21 km.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damages to buildings.
